Over 15 years, in Vilnius district heating sector the company has invested
EUR 177.22 M

We started with inefficient Vilnius district heating sector, and over 15 years, have mainly focussed on upgrade of cogeneration power plants, renovation of routes, installation of heating stations, development of biofuel consumption, and implementation of latest IT. We have invested more than was planned under lease agreement on heating sector with Vilnius municipality, including EU support to the value of EUR 8.636 million.

Installation of automated heating stations (elimination of group boiler stations)

In the period of 2002 to 2016, 150 underperforming group hot water boiler stations were replaced with 3,161 latest heating stations. Supply of heating grid was reduced from 145 to 27 t/h. Heating supply efficiency and adequate flow of coolant in the house system was secured and increased, consequently heating devices demonstrate gradual heating in housing of customers. Energy is now used with greater efficiency.
